Dear Horses In Art Subscriber,

The Horses In Art team wants to thank you for subscribing to our magazine and for your devotion to the passion we all share for equine art in its many forms. As the new owner and editor, when I first acquired Horses In Art I had high hopes to make it bigger and better than ever before. And indeed we’ve had herds of accolades for our gorgeous full-color art, interesting and diverse content, and our passionate support of horse-artists and horse-related awareness and causes. Due to the higher cost of printing and challenges in the economy (drought to horse lovers and owners), as of 2013 Horses In Art has changed its format to a bi-annual digital magazine and will no longer be available as a printed publication. The really good news is that in addition to these changes, effective June 1, 2013 the digital format of Horses In Art will be launched as a FREE publication.

Our main objective as a magazine is to share the inspirations that are created through the majestic horses worldwide and the artists who capture their beauties. Furthermore, we will continue to spread awareness of rescue and therapeutic operations through the many horse stories presented in our articles and features. As a free digital publication we feel that we will be able to give even more exposure and support to gifted artists and artisans in all their art forms, share even more soulful articles with our devoted readers and extend our community of horse enthusiasts throughout the world through the Internet and social media.

Access to our magazine is now very easy – so read and enjoy, and please do share with your friends and colleagues and invite them to join us on Facebook and sign up for our newsletter on our homepage! Simply go to our website www.horsesinart.com and click on the current issue link. A viewable and easy to navigate Horses In Art magazine will instantly appear with click-through access to any of the links and artists featured in our articles and advertisements.

One of our fabulous new perks is the NEW Equine Artisans Directory that is included in each free issue! Requests from the general public looking for specific genres of equine-related artwork or artist contact information resulted in this exciting feature. This is a great source for finding new horse artists and art, products and workshops.

A special thank you is in order to all our paid subscribers – it’s in deep appreciation and gratitude to your love of horse art and our magazine that we are still here. We recognize that not everyone owns a computer or has access to the Internet. Please know that when our budget allows, we hope to once again provide an affordable printed subscription magazine that will be delivered to your door as before. Until then, we appreciate the support of all our subscribers who have helped to keep our dream alive. We have set up a donation button on our website for those of you who would like to contribute to our ongoing. Or, for those of you without Internet access, we are thrilled to accept any donations via USPS mail to the address listed above.

Please visit our website today and check out the latest features and finds at www.horsesinart.com
Until next time, may the horse be with you always,

Davina Andree
